Panagia Theodokouis in Iskele is a 12th Century church with several additions from the 15th and later centuries. It was restored in 1804, and, again, in the 1960s. Fortunately, a substantial part of its beautiful 12th century wall paintings are have been preserved, alongside decorations of younger origin.
