The Museum of Nature & Archaeology is situated next to the St. Mamas Monastery in Güzelyurt. Formerly the Bishpo of Morphu`s palace, it was opened as a museum after restoration in 1979. The ground floor displays a collection of padded animals native to Cyprus. The upper floors form the archaeology section with displays from the Neolithic time, the Bronze Age, and the Tumba Tou Skuru settlement. Outside the museum, objects from the Classical Hellenistic and Roman periods are exhibited.
