Ayia Zoni Church is situated in South-East ôf Famagusta. The simple, cross-shaped Byzantine edifice was devoted to the sacred belt of the Virgin Mary, her legendary only relic after ascension.

Ayia Zoni retains some beautiful frescoes, however, there are only accessible during rehearsals of the Famagusta municipality theatre group, the chruch's current occupants.
